How We WorkWe start from behind the dryer. We clean the complete vent run from behind the dryer clear through to the exhaust on the outside - no matter where it exists, roof or side. We also clean down below the lint trap in the dryer.
Our specialized equipment thoroughly cleans the entire vent system from the dryer to the exhaust vent hood, effectively removing lint buildup and allowing the dryer to operate at peak efficiency. Customers experience the immediate benefits of reduced drying time and energy savings, while receiving the long term benefits of reduced dryer damage and greatly reduced fire hazard. When dryers take longer than one cycle to dry clothes, the amount of wasted energy can be substantial. This results in using two times, three times, or four times more energy than is needed to dry clothes. Vent Care service operators provide professional service and can identify any problems which may be present in dryer ventilation systems. Most houses, condominiums, and apartments have never had their vents cleaned and by having them delinted regularly, most dryer problems could be prevented. |
When was the last time your dryer vent was delinted?
Chances are you don't look at it or even think about it. But over time, it fills with lint that sneaks by your dryer's filters. Overheating comes next as the lint builds up. Now you're just a step away from a duct fire. Sounds ridicilous? Here are some real facts:
Fortunately, removing this danger from your home is neither complicated, nor expensive. Removing the lint will result in the dryer running cheaper, since it will take less energy to get your clothes dry. Drying times can be shorter, allowing you to spend less time in the laundry area. Lastly, the dryer itself will last longer since it is not being stressed by the higher operating temperatures caused by the lint build up.

Any of these sound familiar?
These are some of our most common customer complaints. Actually there is nothing wrong with the dryer. The dryer heats the air that is going into the dryer's drum. This air picks up the moisture from the clothing or material and sends it out of the machine into the dryer's exhaust system.
If this airflow is blocked in any way, such as a kinked transition duct, buildup of lint on the machine's air intake grills, a buildup of lint or lint blockage in the exhaust venting system, the dryer can't move the moisture laden air away from the drum. The dryer will just continue to run, get hot and take hours to get the clothes dry. Remember that proper airflow is important for proper drying, both intake air and exhaust air. |
Warning Signs:
- Dryer is still producing heat, but taking longer and longer to dry clothes, especially towels and jeans.
- Clothes are damp or hotter than usual at the end of the cycle.
- Outdoor flapper on vent hood doesn't open when dryer is on.
- Do your clothes take longer than 30 minutes to dry?
